Dental emergency tips
Dental emergency tips
Dental emergencies of all kinds can happen anywhere and anytime. Being prepared can make the difference. If you are planning a trip, be sure to pack these basics: oil of cloves, aspirin or acetaminophen, gauze, cotton, floss, and paraffin.
The following tips are only temporary emergency measures. If you are away from home, look in the Yellow Pages under dentist to find the local or state dental society's number to get a referral, or ask the hospital emergency room to recommend a dentist. If you are out of the country, contact the U.S. Embassy or ask hotel personnel to refer you to a dentist.
