The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on July 29 issued a recommendation regarding the use of a vaccine for "novel" H1N1 influenza. Health care and emergency personnel are included in a list of "key populations" who would receive priority vaccination treatment when it becomes available.
