Dental Day at the Capitol
Your involvement is crucial to the IDA’s efforts to educate policy makers about the importance of oral health. There are forces at work to shape how you are going to practice dentistry. We invite you to help shape the future of your profession.
Dental Day at the Capitol is great for those who don’t know their representative or have never visited the Statehouse. The IDA staff will coach and assist those interested in meeting their legislator.
How can you help?
- Attend! Learn about the law-making process.
- Introduce yourself to your state legislator.
- Become more knowledgeable on issues facing dentistry.
Spend the day…
- Learning more about the IDA’s legislative agenda, with emphasis on Assignment of Benefits, Non-Covered Services, and Donated Dental Services Funding.
- Speaking with your legislator about issues important to dentistry.
