Mission and Strategic Plan

The mission of the IDA is to support dentists, to promote professionalism, and to improve oral health.

The Indiana Dental Association (IDA) serves over 83 percent of Indiana’s practicing dentists, more than 2,800 members. The IDA is comprised of 15 component societies, which serve each of Indiana’s 92 counties, and is a constituent society of the American Dental Association.

Dental health is important to us, and to our members. The IDA staff can help you find a dentist in your community, sources for dental care information, and phone numbers and addresses of low-cost dental clinics.

Strategic Plan

In 2018, IDA’s staff and volunteer dentist leaders convened to create a strategic plan. This three-year plan is our blueprint for serving our members, advocating for the dental profession in Indiana, making the best use of our resources and promoting oral health throughout Indiana.
